Julie is a 22 year old Veterinary Assistant. She loves working with animals and has future goals to be able to help them as well. Julie is a fur mom to four spunky cats and one loving beagle. In her spare time, she loves making any sort of craft she can think of. The most important thing to Julie, apart from animals, are her family. She is very family oriented and love’s spending as much time with them as possible. Julie’s favorite activity is snowboarding and anything that has to do with nature!


Koni Weatherford

Koni has had a passion for animals her whole life. Whether it be dogs, birds, cats or chickens a pet has been part of her life since childhood.

Koni spends her spare time with her three dogs, 20 year old cat and her grandson, the light of her life. Her love of animals has been passed on thru the generations!


Tara Sanchez


 Veterinary Assistant

Tara is a native New Mexican who is loved by 5 dogs and 3 cats. Needless to say she loves animals! Tara went to Pima Medical Institute and received her certificate in Veterinary Assisting. In her off time she loves spending time with her family and fiance. She enjoys fishing, camping, cooking , tattoos and planning for her wedding! Most days she loves spending time with her fur babies. Whether they are just playing fetch outside or relaxing on the couch there’s never a dull moment with them.


Rebecca Weatherford, RVT

General Manager

Rebecca graduated in 2001 from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and has worked in Albuquerque for the past 17 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).

She’s experienced in emergency, surgery and shelter medicine as well as day practice. She is lovingly owned by a 5 year Sharpei cross, “George” and two cats “Sally” and “Ninja”. With her husband and son she enjoys hiking, camping and riding four wheelers.


Adele Correa


Adele started off in a local grooming salon 12 years ago. She worked with dogs as a bather and it completely changed her life. She realized then, that they need to be taken care of just like everyone else and received her grooming certification in 2006. She can see the joy on a dog’s face after they have been groomed… “They know they look good!”
